SHO 正 is an internationally awarded Egyptian recording artist whose work bridges Egypt and Japan. As a vocalist with AWAL / Sony Music, he builds a sound that treats cultural contrast not as opposition, but as harmony — carrying an Egyptian voice onto the global stage.
His breakthrough release, CHARISMA — A Cross-Cultural Music Experience, fuses the heavy bass of hip-hop and reggaeton with the traditional Japanese Tsugaru shamisen, tap dance, and saxophone. Produced with the Tokyo Cosmo Cats team, the work has surpassed 5.5 million plays worldwide.
In 2026 CHARISMA earned a triple win at the MUSE Creative Awards — Platinum for Music Video, Platinum for Art & Design, and Gold for Cultural — together with Platinum and Gold at the inaugural Tokyo Design Awards 2026. Egypt’s Ambassador to Japan personally congratulated SHO, recognising work that reflects Egyptian presence on the world stage.

代表作CHARISMA — A Cross-Cultural Music Experienceは、ヒップホップとレゲトンの重低音に、日本の伝統楽器津軽三味線、タップダンス、サックスを融合。東京コスモキャッツのチームと制作され、全世界で550万回以上の再生を記録しています。
2026年、CHARISMAはMUSEクリエイティブアワードでトリプル受賞（ミュージックビデオ部門プラチナ、アート＆デザイン部門プラチナ、文化部門ゴールド）を果たし、第1回東京デザインアワード2026でもプラチナ＆ゴールドを受賞しました。在日エジプト大使はSHOを直接称え、エジプトの存在感を世界の舞台に示す作品として評価しました。
